Southern Pride March and Family Fun Day

The theme for our Southern Pride March this year is GATHER DREAM AND AMPLIFY Be free to be you with an afternoon by the sea at Southern Pride March and Family Fun Day. This year, our event coincides with the date of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on 25th February - our opportunity to shine together with Pride of the South! Gather at 2pm at the Original Open Market Reserve, 121 Beach Road, Christies Beach for the 2.30pm Pride March. The march concludes in Rotary Park, 1 Beach Road, Christies Beach, for entertainment and pet parades, performances and much more fun and games! To keep our community healthy and ensure our event is Covid-safe, we ask that people attending make use of sanitiser stations, and if you are unwell on the day to stay home. There will be additional sanitiser stations at Rotary Park. Our friendly Rainbow Covid Marshals will be there throughout the event to assist. Come see what your local community groups have to offer, hear from local identities, and be entertained throughout the afternoon.
