Strengthening LGBTQ+ community responses to disclosures of sexual violence

Are you an ally or apart of the LGBTQ+

Do you want to feel empowered to build healthy consent focused environments?  

Do you want to learn how to confidently respond to disclosures of sexual violence?   

 

About this workshop: 

ACON are running a workshop for any LGBTQ community and allies to upskill their knowledge and capacity to build healthy consent focused environments and learn how to confidently respond to disclosures of sexual violence. 

This workshop is designed to provide a safe space for you to learn and understand more about sexual violence in our communities including how to prevent it and how to respond to it.  

 

Who can attend this workshop? 

  • This workshop is anyone has a connection to the multiple LGBTQ+ communities.
  • Who is interested in upskilling themselves in how to respond to a disclosure of violence.
  • The groups are open to people of all genders. Trans people of all genders are welcome and encouraged to join. 
  • You must be over 18 years old to participate and live in NSW. 

 

Where and when will this workshop be held?  

We are currently underway arranging more workshops to be held soon (both in person and online).
