IF YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE
IS IN DANGER CALL 000

27 July 2023

Let’s chat about healthy relationships!

The best way to promote healthy relationships involves taking part in primary prevention which can occur anywhere, in the workplace, in your friend group, in a conversation with a stranger, there are no limits to where you can effect change through primary prevention.

Something as simple as not laughing at a problematic joke or telling someone that a comment they’ve made is inappropriate shows that you do not condone harmful attitudes which promote the use of violence.  Even sharing positive stories about your own relationships can be part of primary prevention!

By taking part in primary prevention you are helping all people. We need to take responsibility and do our part to create a safer future for all.

Below are two community members Kirra (she/they) and Jarrah (he/him) who share what they love about their healthy relationships.
