Queer Cinema MAY- NSW

Queer Cinema is a movie night dedicated to celebrating queer stories of love, loss and joy. Every month we will be screening a film with drinks and snacks provided. Bring your chosen family and enjoy this special night! May's film is: Due to copyright we cannot name May's movie but here is a description which should give you some clues. Wil (Michelle Krusiec) is a lesbian, but she not dare tell her widowed mother, Hwei-lan (Joan Chen), or her very traditional grandparents. She's shocked, however, to find out she's not the only one in her family with romantic secrets when she learns that her 48-year-old mother is pregnant. Unwilling to reveal who the father is, Hwei-lan is kicked out of her parents' home and must move in with Wil, which puts a strain on Wil's budding relationship with openly gay Vivian (Lynn Chen). Written and directed by Alice Wu Queer Cinema is held on the 3rd Friday of the month. Terms and conditions:
