Keeping safer online: training for LGBTIQ+ service providers- NSW

Join this workshop presented by a representative of the eSafety Commissioner in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia on 17 May and building LGBTIQA+ Inclusion. This free training is for people who work in or provide services for the LGBTIQ+ community in the City of Sydney local area. By attending this workshop you'll build understanding of:
  1. The role of the eSafety Commissioner in keeping all LGBTQI+ communities safe
  2. Types of online harms experienced and their impacts
  3. eSafety reporting schemes and other relevant eSafety resources
  4. The process of reporting – to the platforms/apps and eSafety
  5. Practical tips to strengthen online safety.
Registration is essential. A separate workshop for community members and leaders will be available later in the year. We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events.
