Parrtjima is an extraordinary FREE 10-night festival in the stunning Red Centre, with an incredible program featuring light installations, music and talks. Parrtjima – A Festival in Light 2024 is being held between 12-21 April 2024 under the starry desert skies of Alice Springs (Mparntwe). It is the only Aboriginal light festival of its kind. Since its debut in 2016, visitors from across Australia have been drawn to this celebration of Indigenous culture in growing numbers, and the highly anticipated 2024 festival promises to be breathtaking.
