Our Artworks!

The ethos of Say It Out Loud is that it is a resource written by LGBTQ+ people for LGBTQ+ people and we want to encourage us all to talk about our identities, relationships and our experiences, maintaining that shame and silence allows violence and abuse to thrive.

We want this website to be engaging, innovative and representative of our community.

With this in mind, we decided that as well as the content being written by people from our community, we should also have the images on the site designed by our community. We wanted a diverse range of LGBTQ+ identifying people to represent themselves, their community and their life through art.

In time for the 2020 re-launch of the Say It Out Loud website, we realised we had the perfect opportunity to revamp its appearance and style, throwing away the old stock images and instead inviting in more creativity, more appeal, more representation and more originality.

Under each of the artworks on this site, you can see the name of the artist and where they are from. Keep checking back in regularly to see new artworks.

We absolutely love the images we have, if you want to get involved, drop us a line through our contact us page.

We hope you enjoy scrolling through the pages on our site to see the incredible talent we have in our community! We have loved working with every one of the artists who submitted their work, and love, love, love every image posted! Hope you do too!

P.S don’t miss the comic series embedded in our healthy relationships page.
